Eh, isn't this a crazy pattern?

Recently arrived "Gingham 06 Patchwork Shirt",
If you like shirts and fashion, you may think this is a "crazy pattern."
I was one of those who thought the same thing.
However, when I saw the text in the product introduction saying that it was an "arrangement of a crazy pattern,"
I couldn't help but ask the designer, Morikage, "Oh, isn't this a crazy pattern?"

In the first place, the "crazy pattern" is, as the name suggests,
An item that is made by deliberately combining colors and patterns irregularly.
From Morikage's point of view,
"It's the opposite of simple, so it's hard to choose the right person to wear and difficult to coordinate."
This is apparently the interpretation of the "crazy pattern."
(This is just a design concept,
Morikage himself has a shirt with a crazy pattern,
The premise is that it is something attractive.)
And he said that he creates them with a different approach than those crazy patterns.

Why not "Crazy Pattern"?
To find out the answer,
You need to know about the "patchwork" design of the Morikage shirt.
Morikage's story continues.

It would be too long to tell you everything here, so
This is a very brief explanation, but
Morikage Shirt's patchwork shirts are
"I thought of the whole shirt as one pattern, and I wanted the parts to blend together.
Fabrics of different colors, materials, sizes, and other types are stitched together to create one design.
It is made in accordance with Morikage's philosophy.
It is important to "get used to the person".
This is also a central part of the design that is unique to Morikage Shirts.
In other words, for Morikage, patchwork is
It's clear that they cherish the shirt so much that it could be said to be the Morikage shirt itself.

Crazy, but why not?

The Morikage shirts are made with an arrangement of "crazy patterns" based on the patchwork design concept, so although they are colorful they are not gaudy and are easy to coordinate with other items.
For example, this time's "Gingham 06 Patchwork Shirt"
By using gingham check, the "white" that is common to each part helps to make the whole piece blend together.
So it makes sense to me when I hear that the hanger loop and the name tag next to the pocket are also white.

And finally,
The question I asked earlier, "Why isn't it a crazy pattern?"
I'll come back to that point,
Morikage Shirts makes:
It is not a "crazy pattern that is difficult to coordinate and requires a limited number of people to wear."
This is because there was a line drawn in Morikage's design philosophy.

I mean, it's crazy, but it's not crazy.
So that's what it was...
(It took me a long time to find the answer,
Thank you to everyone who has read this far.)

As I listen to his story, I feel like Morikage is the craziest person, having been making shirts for 27 years without wavering (with all due respect).
For this reason, at Morikage Shirts we don't call our shirts "crazy pattern" but "patchwork shirts."
But please don't worry about what you call it.
This is simply Morikage's philosophy when it comes to designing.

Not just this shirt,
Morikage Shirt's patchwork shirts are easy to coordinate with other items.
This item makes you look stylish even when paired with plain pants and sneakers.
Some people say that patterned clothes don't suit them.
We often hear from people that when they try it out, they receive compliments from those around them.
Morikage also said that this shirt,
He says that people who usually wear plain clothes should definitely try this out.
Please enjoy.
